The charity Worldwide Ummah Aid has been dissolved by the Charity Commission in April 2019 for cash couriering. It has also removed two trustees and disqualified a third.
The charity was established in 2012 to relieve poverty in the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
The Commission found withdrawals that were unaccounted for. There was a lack of proper accounting and controls.
